The historic Elbtunnels has been open to cars in the past. Vehicles would use these elevators to be lifted down to the underground level.

Today the Elbtunnels are only used by pedestrians and cyclists for crossing the Elbe fast and easy.

In the Speicherstadt one can also find a few (maybe not so hidden) spots to enjoy a sunday coffee.

The Poggenmühlenbrücke at the end of the Speicherstadt even became an UNESCO 'Weltkulturerbe.
