Entering the city of Pripyat. Pripyat was supposed to be a model city for the Soviet Union.
The "House of Culture" in Pripyat. These kind of buildings were used for cultural events and gatherings in sovjet cities.
The famous ferris wheel in Pripyat. It was supposed to open on May 1st 1986, but the city was evacuated on April 27th.

On our way out we also visited the Duga radar. It was part of the sovjet missile defense system. It received the nickname of "Russian Woodpecker" because of the tapping noise it made on shortwave radio frequencies.
